Unit 42 Begins

Sixty six men arrive for UNIT 42 Basic Training.

Col Tanner delivers and encouraging speech built around the theme of “Hope.”

The recruits meet the Basic Training Cadre

They are assigned to squads. Each squad is made up of 7 or 8 men.

Receiving a medical examination

Learning regulations

The men also learn the rudiments of Drill and Ceremonies such as Standing At Attention and Facing Movements
