Transcript FAQs
Q. What information does a transcript include?
A. An official transcript includes your:
- Course records
- Deployment history
- Awards earned
- Promotions received
- Physical Training Tests
Q. Is ALERT an accredited institution?
A. ALERT is a non-accredited vocational technical institute. And is not regionally or nationally accredited. Acceptance of ALERT training for transference of courses is dependant on the policy of the institution you are applying to.
Q. What does it cost to receive a transcript?
A. The first official transcript for any student is provided by the Academy, there is a $10.00 fee (plus S&H) for any official copy thereafter.
Q. How do I Request a Transcript?
A. Requests may be made via one of the following options:

Your request must include:
- Your name
- Basic Training Unit Number
- Current address, including zip code
- Name and address(s) of the recipient of the transcript if other than your own
- Your phone number and e-mail in case of problems
- The transcript fee if you have had a transcript in the past
Transcript processing may be delayed if any of the above information is missing. No transcripts can be issued until all financial obligations to ALERT have been satisfactorily settled.
Lost Certificates?
If you have lost or damaged certificates you can now order replacements for $10.00 (plus S&H) per course certificate, or $15.00 (plus S&H) for your graduation certificate. (Dive cards are available for an additional fee; contact the Aquatics Department concerning your request.) When reordering certificates, please indicate which certificates you need replaced; include your name and the approximate date you took the course.
