International ALERT Academy (IAA)

The International ALERT Academy (IAA) is a unique Christian training and service organization. IAA encompasses several programs from its base in East Texas, including ALERT, ALERT Cadet, STEP, and Quest, along with our many camps and conferences. Our goal is “Preparing Generations to be Followers of Christ,” and we seek to equip individuals with tools to better prepare them for the specific callings God has placed on each of their lives. Family Camp 2009 was a fantastic week of family fun, fellowship, and bikes everywhere! We were thrilled to have our biggest group of Family Campers EVER, with 1112 people in attendance. Our first team of 14 men returned from Haiti March 8 after  serving three weeks with the <a href=”http://www.friendships.org/” target=”_blank”>Friend Ships</a> ministry.   Few ALERT teams have had the variety of ministry in  serving that these men did over the course of their three weeks of service.
