  • Postmark your registration form by June 3, 2008 with full payment and receive a 5% discount on your total registration fee!
  • Registrations must be postmarked no later than September 26, 2008. After September 26th, call or fax form to ALERT.

Registration Details

Accommodations

Accommodations are reserved on a first-come, first served basis when we receive your completed registration form and non-refundable deposit. If requested accommodations are full, we will confirm the next type of housing for you and put you on standby for your first choice.

Campsites

The following configurations are available:

  • One vehicle and two tents
  • One vehicle towing one camping trailer and one tent
  • One motorized camper (motor home or bus) and one tent
  • One additional passenger vehicle or motorcycle may be parked at the campsite if space permits

Other campground information:

  • There are no sewer hookups, but a dump station is available to registered campers.
  • Bathhouses are available throughout the campground.
  • A limited number of picnic tables are located throughout the campground. Note: some campsites have picnic tables; others do not.

Guest Lodging

  • Air-conditioned rooms sleep 4-5 people.
  • Linens are supplied.
  • Ironing boards are located in each hallway.
  • Coin-operated washers and dryers are available.
  • Each wing (4 rooms) shares a kitchenette which includes a microwave and a refrigerator.

Meals

Families are welcome to bring and prepare their own food; however dining room meal packages are available for those who wish to purchase them in advance.

Meal Package

Week-long package: All meals are provided, beginning with Saturday dinner and ending with Saturday brunch.

Custom Package: Choose the specific days and meals you wish to eat with us. (See registration form.)

Camp Registration

10:30 AM - 6:30 PM, Saturday, October 4

Want to come early or stay late? Enjoy some extra time at IAA, before or after camp. Enjoy sightseeing in the area, or just relax on campus. For more information, cal the Family Camp office. Extra fee applies.

Dress and Appearance

Men and Boys: Bring modest, conservation clothing appropriate for a casual outdoor setting. Note: Long pants and shirts with collars should be worn to all meetings and to all meals served in the dining room. For activities, bring appropriate attire for each activity.

Ladies and girls: Bring modest conservative clothing appropriate for a casual, outdoor setting. Note: Longer skirts/dresses should be worn to all meetings and to all meals served in the dining room. For activities, wear loose-fitting pants, split-skirts, etc., appropriate for each activity. Please do not wear sleeveless tops.

Pets

We do not accommodate pets at Family Camp.

Weather

Fall weather in East Texas is very pleasant, with warm days and cooler nights. Layered clothing will allow you to adjust to conditions throughout the day. Rain gear should be in your packing list.

Lost and Found

Lost items not claimed within 30 days will be disposed of.

Day Camp

Live in the area and go not need housing? The Day Camp option is for you. A $35 per person program fee (4yrs and older) will cover the cost of camp activities for the week.
