What are the dates for this summer’s Quest program?
This year’s Quest program takes place July 12 through August 6. (As noted above, flights out need to be arranged for August 7).
Are there any discounts available?
We do offer a 15% off “second son” discount for the younger brother if multiple brothers attend in the same year.
Are there any scholarships?
We do not offer any scholarships, instead encouraging young men and their parents to pray for God’s provision to allow them to attend. This creates an exciting opportunity to exercise faith and see God’s hand in their lives.
What is the typical daily schedule?
While different days may differ, a typical day starts with wake up at about 5:30am. The student’s days begin with PT and devotions. The morning class/workshop sessions begin at 8:00 am and are followed by a time of sports activities or work projects. Lunch is at 12:00pm. The afternoon has more classes and recreation. Supper is at 5:00pm. After supper, everyone pitches in to complete daily chores and then spends time with their team working on a variety of special projects. The evening class session is 7:15pm to 8:15pm. At 9:00pm, the students meet in a smaller group session for evening devotions with the group leader. Lights out is at 9:30pm.This is the typical schedule, but it will vary from day to day and week to week as necessary.
Are you still accepting applications for the Quest 2010 program?
Yes, we will continue accepting applications until June 27.
My son is only 13. Can he still attend?
Every year, a few 13 year olds attend. If you send in your application, we will review it and contact you about the possibility of your son attending. His chances greatly improve if he has an older brother also attending.
I sent in my application. When will I hear back?
We begin processing applications March 1. Once we receive your application, we will send you an email confirming receipt of your application. We will then review the application and let you know once you are confirmed. You should receive a confirmation packet in the mail within 3-4 weeks of us receiving your application.
What should I bring with me to Quest?
Please see the Quest packing list.
I have a conflicting event. Can I come a few days late to Quest?
Due to the nature of the Quest program, we would like students to attend the entirety of the program. You are welcome to contact us and discuss your particular case with us.
