ALERT provides transportation to and from the airport, bus or train station. We only require that you schedule your transportation needs around our predetermined dates and times, and submit the Transportation Form at least 14 days in advance of your arrival or departure.

Fees:
• $35 transportation fee (per way) will be billed to your account.
• $10 fee (per 15 minutes) will be applied for any arrival/departure scheduled outside the stated parameters.

Basic Training:

ALERT Transportation:
– Arrivals must be scheduled before 2:00 PM.
– Departures must be scheduled after 12:00 Noon.

Personal Transportation:
– Arrive on campus no later than 4 PM.
– Departure may be scheduled for any time after the Advancement Ceremony.

Battalion:

For those who have completed Basic Training.

ALERT Transportation:
– Arrivals must be scheduled before 5:00 PM.
– Departures must be scheduled after 12:00 Noon.

Personal Transportation:
– Arrive on campus no later than 4 PM on the day before training begins.
– Departure may be scheduled after 6:00 AM the day after training ends.

If your travel arrangements are not within the specified parameters, you are responsible to find your own transportation to/from the airport. If this is the case, there are two main options:

Shuttle

The closest shuttle stop to the ALERT Campus is Lindale, TX.

Train
Use public transportation from the DFW airport to Union Station and take the train to Mineola, TX.
